Import a bill of materials from CAD programs

Has your project already been drawn? Simply import the bill of materials!

Start on the open page of your work order. Click the blue "Add element" button. Either select "Borm Pointline Pointline" directly or choose " Other CAD systems" and select one of the other CAD programs supported by Borm Go.

Click the file picker and choose the file in the correct file format. The file format depends on the drawing program you use.

Note

Follow the import instructions or contact your drawing program provider to find out how to export a drawing.

Note

For the elements in the bill of materials and the other PDF documents to link automatically to the article master data, the article numbers in Borm Go must match those in your drawing program.

Click the blue "Create" button.

A folder has been created in the bill of materials, listing all elements of the imported project.

You can then structure the list yourself by creating additional folders or subfolders and moving the elements as needed.
