"Default manufacturing process", select how edge processing is done in your workshop.
You have the following options:
| Option | When to use it |
|---|---|
| Thickness-dependent allowance per edge | Your edgebander detects the edge thickness and removes exactly this material thickness before gluing |
| From surcharge table | The allowances that you entered in the surcharge groups table are applied |
| Fixed allowance per edge (x mm) | By default, your edgebander removes x mm of material before gluing an edge |
| Fixed allowance per side (2 mm) | Your CNC machine trims components that have been cut to rough size using a roughing cutter or a similar tool |
